A Comprehensive Approach
At Tasmanian IT, we strongly believe in empowering organisations to be self-sufficient.
An effective Project Manager is a key to the success of a project. It is worth acknowledging, however, that projects come in all shapes and sizes and often resourcing needs to be tailored to the organisational requirements. Whether it is a small project in a hospital department run by a registered nurse, or a large project at an educational institute run by a departmental manager, a common thread we find is that the allocated project manager is often a specialist in the project content, not a specialist in managing projects.
This can also be true of the project steering committee or project board – where executives may find the complexity or time requirements of a project challenging their capacity to adequately support the project.
Enter the Project Management Advisor. This role is designed specifically to help organisational project managers to monitor the progress of the work, outlining key focal points and escalating support as required.
